Whether you are looking for ways to enhance your experience at work or elsewhere in your life, coaching focuses on supporting your path to success — as you define it.
Identifying and moving toward your vision of what you want more of takes energy, self awareness and creative problem solving skills. A coach can help you untangle the knots, acknowledge your strengths and define your next steps.
Everybody and every situation is unique. Coaching offers ongoing support to individuals as we work with your reality, cultural style and vision for the future.
“Linda approaches her work in a highly creative way, using different approaches and tools to find a process that works for each person.”
~ Christopher Rompre, coaching client
Outcomes
Though the process and focus may change, the outcomes remain relatively stable:
- to support the achievement of your primary goals
- to build your self confidence and effectiveness
- to increase your awareness of your particular leadership style, strengths and learning edges
“Working with Linda was a wonderful experience. Her knowledge base, creativity and openness helped me define direction in my life. I still use the tools she helped me work with today!”

What It Looks Like
Typically coaching dialogues cover topics such as effective leadership and management, career and retirement planning, work/life balance, decision making, learning style, problem solving, conflict resolution, communication, and interpersonal relations. What is important to you is where we focus.
Coaching tends to follow an emerging design, one that concentrates on current and relevant events as they happen. We work with a plan but move with the rhythm and pace of your needs as they surface. My role as your coach is to listen, ask questions, make observations, and support you. I may also offer information, resources, or action suggestions.
My primary expectation of you is that you be willing to take personal responsibility for your own learning and your own behaviour. While I would like you to participate in your own way, I encourage you to be open to the possibility of surprising yourself.
“Linda is a highly skilled listener who asks relevant questions at precisely the right moment. She was able to draw out of me the analysis and solutions to challenges I faced at very stressful moments… The coaching technique she uses is conducive to building immediate solutions for pressing problems.”

Logistics
We begin with an initial conversation to see if we are a fit. We can meet on the phone, over Skype or in person at a mutually agreed upon location. Some clients choose to come to Rendezvous Rupert, appreciating the driving time for further reflection as well as the opportunity to breathe in the country air.
Fees are based on a conversation and your own assessment of your financial situation. I am open to discussing payment options that will allow you to best meet your overall intentions for this work. Typically my coaching fees range between $125 – $200/session. Savings are possible when purchasing packages of 6 or 9 or 12 sessions.

“My process has encouraged a deeper awareness of the connection between my professional practice and all other aspects of my being. Each coaching session is like taking a ride through the psyche and stepping on the path of clarity.”
