This Practice was developed for big hearted care-givers who want to practice directing some of that caring energy on themselves and check-in with their own feelings and needs.
Using a blend of elements that include aspects of Mindfulness, Inner Relationship Focusing and the Expressive Arts.
Along with the Living Aligned framework, this combination of processes gently helps you connect with yourself, your emotional landscape and your perfectly imperect humanness.
This leads us to radically accept and be with what is which allows for a sense of calm spaciousness in which the next best step is revealed.

Most people comment on the extra something they receive by experiencing this process in the company of others.
Most of the time we are off camera, each working in their own private space, with my voice inviting and guiding you.
Sharing afterwards is always optional.
Sometimes it's listening to what someone else shares that offers up a gift of perspective or insight that opens a window of fresh air for where you are in that moment.

our creative life!
Community Art Dates are a response to hearing that many of us let other things get in the way of our own creative explorations. We meet online, or occasionally in person, or both.
We'll start with a short check in, sharing what we are working on or to ask for help / ideas. We decide how long we each plan to stick around and whether we want a mid-point check in.
Then we'll each settle into our individual projects, the setting up and rustling sounds ebb and flow, everyone begins to focus on their writing, music, dance moves, textile project or whatever has captured their imagination that day ... and a gentle peace follows.
We usually check back in the last 15 - 20 minutes to share - if desired - what you worked on or simply how you're feeling.
Art Dates occur at random and sometimes by request.

Transition Circle

Are you in the midst of a change ...
perhaps swimming in uncertainty and emotional chaos right now?
Something long anticipated, like retirement
Something unexpected, like a medical diagnosis, for yourself or someone you care for.
A move from a beloved home or neighbourhood.
You are gathering up the courage to do something your heart is longing for.
Perhaps you are finding yourself in a new role at home, work or elsewhere.
Transition Circles are closed groups of between four to six people. Participants commit to attending consistently to the best of their ability.
Based on individual intake conversations with each person, I will draft an initial design for our time together. That design is flexible, allowing for the needs and energy to emerge and evolve. We will co-create the agenda based on what is timely and meaningful for everyone present.
Though a helpful foundation, other Living Aligned workshops are not prerequisits for Circle participation.
Whatever transition (or transitions) you are experiencing, join us for some empathy, personal reflection, shared learning and support.
You don't have to navigate the emotional ups and downs alone.
