Workshops and Learning Circles
Are you anticipating or experiencing a challenging transition right now?
Perhaps retirement or an unexpected medical diagnosis or someone you care for.
Perhaps you find yourself in a new role at home, at work or in the community that feels exciting but also somewhat challenging.
Perhaps you are finally gathering up your courage to do the thing that your heart has been longing for and your knees feel a little wobbly at the thought of taking the next step.
Whatever transition (or transitions) you are experiencing, join us for some empathy, reflection, learning, and support in navigating the ups and downs.

This workshop is a starting point, an introduction.
Below is information on our Transitions Learning Circles which will offer a deeper exploration and support over several weeks.
Transition Learning Circles
part course, part coaching, part support group
Each Learning Circle group is co-created based on what is timely and meaningful for everyone present. After meeting everyone individually, an initial design is drafted with a flexible structure that allows for emergent input and energy. Much of our content will come from our collective experiences, questions and wishes.
To keep it intimate and personal, each Circle will remain small, with a maximum of 6 participants.
We'll be running two hour weekly sessions for six weeks on zoom based on participant geography and time availability. Depending on the circumstances of each Circle, an occasional in-person component may be possible. TBD.
I will request that everyone commits to attending consistently to the best of their ability.
Though the Embracing Transition Workshop is not a prerequisite, you might find it a useful first step.
The first Transition Learning Circle took place earlier this year (2025) and was embraced with enthusiasm from the first session onward.
Connecting weekly as a small group, with the same people, over a set period of time allowed us to practice the art of pausing to check in with ourselves and reflect on what might be needed in this moment.
Sharing our current lived experiences and exploring them through the lens of the various tools introduced, invited curiosity and compassion towards ourselves and each other.
Each conversation revealed new ways of perceiving and responding to the transitions in our lives and helped us explore and be with our mixed emotions, bodily sensations and begin to see our choices more clearly.
Participant feedback:
Even though the transitions we are each living are different, I was moved by how similar our feelings and experiences are.
The tools you gave us help me be more aware of my choices. I know I will be reviewing them often in the weeks and months ahead.
I was amazed at how safe I felt and how comfortable I was in sharing. You created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
It was the perfect balance for me between structure and free-flowing discussion.
I feel less alone now.

The Arts-Based Self-Care Practice
The Practice is Paused currently, May 2025, for a strategic rethink.
Contact Linda for summer session delivery updates.
This Practice was developed for big hearted Care Givers who want to practice directing some of that caring energy on themselves and check-in with their own feelings and needs.
Using a blend of elements that include aspects of Mindfulness, Focusing, the Expressive Arts as well as of the Living Aligned framework, this combination of processes gently helps you connect with yourself, your emotional landscape and simply your perfectly imperfect humanness.

Most people comment on the extra something they receive by doing this process with others. Most of the time we are off camera, working in our own private space. Typically we start in community for a few minutes to say hello and check-in and we close the last 15 minutes with an optional sharing. These often reveal some common threads or a personal perspective or insight that the others find helpful for themselves as well.
You can listen to an audio sample of part of our process by checking out the Freebie bundle.
Listen to what a few of our Practice members have to say about their experience here. We look forward to welcoming you to this Practice and our community.
(NOTE: I'm rethinking the Membership model. Stay tuned via the Membership page.)
